Oceanvolt Solar & EV is easily the top choice for having a solar system installed on your house. Jordan and Marcus are very professional during every step of the process. We had many quotes done and none were as thorough as we got from them. We had a unique situation with a carriage house on our property offering the best location for solar with a large south facing slope. Oceanvolt was able to take advantage of this roof and tie along with the roof of our main house and tie it all together despite the distance between them. No other company we contacted was willing to go above and beyond in this way.
Our system has been up and running for about 6 months now and it was already exceeded our expectations. No leaks in our roof, solar production above what we expected, and no downtime at all. Everything is working perfect.
We have just purchased 2 EVs and will be sure to have them back so we can power our cars off the sun.

We were looking to get solar panels for our home to try and get some energy independence – we are thinking of going to EV too and felt like this was a way to help offset some of the cost of that. Our roofing company (we recently put on a new roof) put us in touch with Ocean Volt. Right from the very beginning Marcus and Jordan were superior communicators. They were well informed, answered all our questions, and were clear about the limitations and benefits of the choices. They took their time in making sure we understood all aspects of the job. We installed solar panels and upgraded the electrical to our house. The job was exceptionally well done, with little fuss and muss, just steady work with no drama or surprises. Their time management skills were excellent, and given the hot weather also very safe. We have a 1950s bungalow style home with typical old wiring and poorly insulated. We have been wanting to do a major upgrade for awhile. We always look for reviews to help us decide who to hire as home renovations are expensive. We finally decided on hiring oceanvolt electrical and we are sure happy we did. They arrived on time made us a quote and recommended what we wanted and more. The panel upgrade was our main priority. They did all the permits liason with BC Hydro, etc. We also have a suite but it shares the same panel so needless to say it was a nightmare. Marcus and Jordan were eager to dig in and first gave us our own panel and a separate one for the suite and also installed a power monitor so we know now how much power our tenant is using that’s awesome thank you Oceanvolt. Jordan and Marcus were a pleasure to work with always on time very professional eased all our worries and now we live in a very safe home and that was always our biggest concern.
