Reach Out

Whether you’re exploring EV charging options or ready to go, we’ll explain how it all works and help you get started.

Remote Site Assessment

No need to schedule an in-person visit right away.

Send us a few photos of your electrical panel and the area where you'd like your charger installed. We’ll let you know exactly what we need.

Load Calculation & Capacity Check

We’ll do the math so you don’t have to.

Before every install, we perform a detailed load calculation to see how much extra power your home can safely handle. This helps us identify if your current electrical service can support your EV charger or if a power management device is needed.

If you're close to your limit, don’t worry, we have a smart solution.

Power Management Made Simple

What is a Power Management Device,

and why might you need one?

Some homes, especially older ones, don’t have much

spare electrical capacity. Running your oven, dryer, or heating system during peak times can max out your panel.

That’s where a device like the Blackbox comes in.

Benefits:

  • Avoids the cost of upgrading your electrical service

  • Protects your home’s electrical system

  • Eligible for BC Hydro rebates, saving you money

  • If we find your system is near capacity, we’ll recommend this as a cost-effective, reliable solution.

Choosing the Right Charger for Your Home

We’ll help you choose the best option based on your EV, driving habits, and electrical system.

For most fully electric vehicles, a Level 2 charger is the ideal choice:

  • Uses a 240-volt connection

  • Delivers up to 50 km of range per hour

  • Fully charges most EVs overnight

Most EVs come with a Level 1 charger that plugs into a standard outlet, but they charge slowly (about 7 km per hour) and are better suited for plug-in hybrids or backup use.

We’ll help you understand your options, so you can charge with confidence.

What Clients Say

Brilliant job by two superb young men. We had our electrical car charging station installed in our garage and they were prompt, efficient, neat, communicative and courteous. We would highly recommend Marcus and Jordan from Oceanvolt.
